My two children, 10 and 8, received Mandarine Chinese instructions from 1Month Mandarin while on holiday in Beijing.  Ms. Zhang taught our children at our residence twice a week for 6 weeks over the summer of 2009.  She was very professional, had great patience, and was a very good instructor to our children. Both our kids enjoyed learning pingying and conversational Mandarin.  Weekly session were especially tailored to our children's interests and needs.  By the end of the sessions, they were able to speak pingying as well as know basic Chinese words and phrases, especially our 10 year old.
