The program was very effective in improving my Chinese skills. As part of the augmentation program, I attended classes at UIR coupled with daily tutoring and excursions from East-West Connection. My tutor was exceptional in providing vocabulary and conversation practice for daily situations and showed me a number of sites in Beijing during the weekend sightseeing excursions.
